Susan Mann will be retiring as CEO of Education Services Australia at the end of the year. Mr Andrew Smith will be taking up the position commencing Monday, 30 January 2017.
ESA Board Chair, Dr Tom Stubbs said that the Board was delighted to have been able to appoint someone of the calibre of Andrew Smith and that the search attracted some outstanding candidates from within and outside Australia which is a reflection of the importance and standing of the company and the role.
Dr Stubbs also referred to the outgoing Chief Executive, Susan Mann, saying that he could not speak highly enough of her contribution to ESA. He noted that in the 7 years since the inception of the company she had provided superb leadership, characterised by outstanding management of staff, the fostering of quality relationships with all external stakeholders and the ability to realise the strategic vision through uncompromising excellence in service delivery.
