[1] The Teach, Learn, Share project is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations [2](DEEWR) and is undertaken in collaboration with state, territory and non-government education authorities. The project is developing a national evidence base of effective practice that achieves accelerated and sustained improvements in literacy and numeracy.
Education Services Australia (ESA) is contracted by DEEWR to manage the project and to develop and maintain the Teach, Learn, Share [1]website.
Teach, Learn. Share website materials are sourced from submissions made by practicing teachers, schools, school clusters, education authorities and organisations, and education researchers. Material submitted for publication are assessed by a panel of educators and researchers for the strength of the evidence of its impact on student outcomes, enabling the site to become a source of evidence of what works in literacy and numeracy teaching, especially for students who are falling behind.
Teachers, parents and the community are able to search the website for relevant literacy and numeracy teaching ideas .
