Teach, Learn, Share - the national literacy and numeracy evidence base
The Teach, Learn, Share project funded by the Department of
Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is being undertaken in collaboration with state, territory and non-government education authorities. The project is developing a national evidence base of effective practice that achieves accelerated and sustained improvements in literacy and numeracy. Education Services Australia is contracted by DEEWR to manage the project and to develop the Teach, Learn, Share website.
Teach, Learn, Share website materials will be sourced from submissions made by practicing teachers, schools, school clusters, education authorities and organisations, and education researchers. Material submitted for publication will be assessed by a panel of educators and researchers for the strength of the evidence of its impact on student outcomes, enabling the site to become a source of evidence of what works in literacy and numeracy teaching, especially for students who are falling behind.
Register your interest in submitting an outline of a successful literacy and numeracy initiative on the Teach, Learn, Share website from 21 November 2011. Submissions closed on the 19 December 2011. Late submissions are now being accepted. Contact the help desk for details on 1800 076 331.
