Employment pathways have never felt more uncertain than they do today, with young people often feeling significant pressure to make the ‘right’ decisions in their career journey. The Student Wellbeing Hub and myfuture teams recently came together to discuss how career development and wellbeing are intertwined.

During their career development journey, students may be faced with emotional challenges or situations that can trigger or worsen their stress or anxiety. These stressors can be broken into five key areas: achievement anxiety, decision-making anxiety, social pressure, parental pressure and general anxiety.
