Life after school has never been so unpredictable as it is today. While the workforce is transforming dramatically, flexibility, the capacity for lifelong learning, and ‘soft skills’ such as problem-solving, collaboration and decision-making will be critical to career success and development.
But how do we support students in identifying and developing these skills for future employment? An integrative approach to career guidance in schools is recommended so students can learn to understand themselves and embed career thinking into their everyday life.
