In this article, Mathieu O’Neil and Rachel Cunneen debunk the old wisdom that Wikipedia is not a reliable source of information.

Wikipedia can be a useful source and a key tool for teaching media literacy if it is used correctly. O’Neil and Cunneen point out that students can be taught to use features such as ’history’ and ’talk’ pages as well as to check references that verify the information is reliable.
