Australia’s children should grow up with an understanding of the world and a sense of Australia’s place within it.
Global Education lesson plans encourage students to be active, thoughtful global citizens by exploring Australia’s role in the world in practical ways. The plans enrich core subjects with ready-to-use content on equity, sustainability and Australia’s international development role, aligned to Years 3–10 Humanities, Science and Design and Technologies.
Designed by educators for educators, the lesson plans are delivered by Education Services Australia for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). They’re easy to incorporate into existing curriculum designs and help teachers make global citizenship part of everyday learning.
