The Ketawa program provides scaffolded support for teachers with limited experience of Indonesian language who wish to implement a language program in schools for Year 3-6 students in Western Australia. The student workbooks, teacher guides, lesson plans and Train-the-Trainer professional learning activities were created for teachers and students in 2018 by ESA on behalf of the Department of Education in Western Australia. Resources and lessons are aligned to the Western Australian Languages Curriculum.

Accessible HTML pages allow students and teachers to hear Indonesian language spoken and complete activities online. Engaging student work portfolios connect students with the language and create materials for assessment for teachers. All materials are accessible to WA teachers via the Department of Education online portal, Connect.
