Developed by Education Services Australia (ESA) on behalf of Australia’s federal, state and territory governments, myfuture supports education communities by providing users with free access to trusted, impartial and reliable career information based on research and evidence.
ESA CEO Andrew Smith says the organisation is proud to celebrate myfuture’s 20th anniversary.
‘Reaching this milestone is a testament to the team’s commitment to providing access to high-quality career education resources and information to support students as they transition into the world of work.’
‘Over the past 20 years, our team has provided school communities with a credible, authoritative source for career education, whether through helpful tips for students, teaching resources, or professional learning and support sessions for teachers and families.’
myfuture has published new resources to celebrate 20 years of helping young people build self-awareness, enhance decision-making skills and prepare for post-school transitions.
These include a series of career education quizzes for students to use in classrooms or independently to give them insight into the world of work and how career plans and pathways can change.
‘We want students to realise that careers are no longer straight lines,’ says Smith.
‘We have developed this quiz to ensure students can explore the world of work and gain a realistic idea of what a career journey can look like.’
