The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability provides Australian schools, parents, education authorities and the community with information about the number of students with disability in schools, where they are located
and the adjustments they receive.
The website offers professional learning to guide teachers, support staff and school leaders to apply the data collection model and the levels of adjustment used in the model. It articulates the steps required as schools prepare to record and submit date, illustrations of practice and a resource bank including case studies.
In 2016, Education Services Australia re-developed the website to offer greater functionality, design enhancement and analytic capability. ESA established a collaborative working relationship with the client and the joint working group representing education states and territories, working closely with them to implement the technical and content enhancements.
The website incorporates ESA’s combined skills of product development, and educational and technical expertise.
